Singing praises in Kibuli

"Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day . Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise." 1 Chronicles 10:23-25



This is the current home of Kibuli Celebration Service. The church rents this building from the Police Children's School. Before you even walk around the corner you can hear the beat of the African drums and hear the voices lifted to God in praise! The church members are singing and dancing to the One and Only who is worthy of praise. May God be glorfied through this church, through its people and through the spreading of His message. As you walk around Kibuli you can feel the swirling of teachings that pulsate through this community. Our prayer is the voice of truth be spoken so loudly that the false voices are quiet! As you walk around Kibuli, pray that Jesus Christ would pour out His love and mercy on this part of Kampala.

Meet Pastor Vincent and Pastor James

Meet Pastor Vicent, a young man devoted to sharing the gospel and reaching Kibuli and Kampala for Christ! Praise God for his commitment and tireless efforts to minister to those who so desperately need Jesus in his community. Pray that God will bless Vincent with good health, a deeper knowledge through his seminary classes at Uganda Baptist Seminary and a continued deep passion to reach those around him and minister to those in his congregation.

Pastor James and his wife Jennifer continue to seek to reach the lost of Kibuli. Praise God for them both as they minister to the men, women and children of the church. Pray that God will bless their lives together and may they be an example to other young married couples in their community. We praise God for their commitment, love and passion for the gospel. May God continue to be glorified and may the light and love of Jesus Christ shine brightly through this couple.

A new home for Kibuli!

Welcome to the new home of the Kibuli Celebration Service! Through the love and generous donations of friends to Kibuli, they now have a place they can call their own. Please pray over this piece of land. May this church impact their neighbors, their community and their city. Pray that many around this plot see the love of Jesus Christ through those who worship here each week! May the gospel spread not only through Kibuli, but through Kampala and throughout Uganda.

Walking in the shadow . . .

of the Kibuli Mosque. The new land that will soon house the Kibuli Celebration Service sits at the foot of this mosque. Many live in the shadow of not only the building but its teachings. Fear and hoplessness plague this community. However, we praise God, the Almighty One, King of Kings, Savior, Redeemer, Abba, Father for this church, its leaders and those who are a witness and a light into this part of Kampala! God is the God of this city, no shadows can ever hide the saving grace and light of Jesus Christ! May God direct the paths of those who bring the gospel to Kibuli.
